Determination of the most effective method of targeted therapy for the treatment of cancer
The Genetics Centre iVF Riga provides an opportunity for the patients diagnosed with an oncological disease to carry out a genetic analysis in order to determine the most effective method of targeted therapy, which allows a more precise and targeted effect on tumor cells.
Tumor biopsy / tumor tissue sample (FFPE) material to be delivered to the Genetics Centre iVF Riga (1 Zala Street, Riga)
After the analysis, you can get a consultation with a chemotherapist oncologist who will explain the results and give recommendations for further treatment.
Tumor tissue testing is carried out using the latest generation sequencing; analysis of results with interpretation. We propose to carry out the analysis quickly in order not to delay the treatment process, as well as to explain the results obtained, which will help to improve the course of treatment.
The sample for examination should be delivered to the iVF Riga clinic, Riga, Zaļā Street 1, 2nd floor, where it will be registered and delivered to the laboratory.
The results –> within 2-4 weeks.
Genetic tests are carried out for persons over 18 years of age. Exceptions apply only with a referral from a clinical geneticist.
